Michelle Plombon

Starting as a pottery artist, Michelle stumbled upon her abstract painting style and technique because of her desire to paint with "joy" and to eliminate wasted paint. Running her texture tool through the paint left on her palette paper and applying the paper directly on canvas, produced spontaneous shapes, designs, textures and combinations of colors that were often unexpected and aesthetically exciting. Her abstract expression has now started influencing her pottery glazing as well. Plombon believes that the shapes and patterns she paints are reflections of what she sees in the outside world.
