Whether you’re an art newbie, or a seasoned aficionado, we make the process of finding, buying, and appreciating original art simple, easy, and most importantly—fun.
Here’s how we do it.
Step 1
We get to
know you
First thing’s first, let’s chat. There’s a lot to consider when thoughtfully adding art to a space. We get to know you and learn about your personal style and preferences. We discuss your space and where you want the art to live. We take photos, measurements, and take in account the surroundings. Every relationship is unique and we always meet in person if possible, but also can meet online or over the phone to get the ball rolling.
Step 2
Find art
just for you
Once we have a good grasp of you and your needs we do the hard part: scour the world for art that is perfect for you. We maintain tight relationships with dozens of artists, often getting access to works that aren’t available anywhere else. Plus, we are constantly checking out galleries, online portfolios, and doing studio visits with artists. With all of these resources at our disposal, we curate a selection of pieces with you and your space specifically in mind.
Step 3
Share and discuss
Once we’ve assembled a portfolio of pieces selected just for you we meet again in person or online to review. We include a range of mediums, subject matter, and artists and discuss each piece in detail. Some may be surprising, some may be inspiring, some may not be for you (art is subjective!), but we know you’ll find something that you love.
Step 4
Test drive in
your space
Next, we bring your favorite pieces to you for a fun-filled show and tell, turning your space into a personal art gallery! This is where we can really see if a piece works in a specific room—how it works with the lighting, furniture, wall placement, etc. If you need more time with any piece, we’ll let you hang on to the artwork before making a final decision.
Step 5
Custom
framing
Once you’ve selected a piece to purchase, we facilitate professional framing and select the mounting, matting, and moulding that will make your new artwork shine. We return to your space to share framing options in person. Thoughtful and high quality framing is an important step in owning original art and we believe it is the exclamation point to a great piece.
Step 6
Install your
new art
There’s really nothing like stepping back after hanging a framed piece of art in your home. We handle the safe install and transportation of your art to make sure everything turns out perfect. With the hard work behind us and your new original art on your walls, this is where we kick back and have a toast to a fun and successful process!
